Information for Summer Camp 2008 Speakers: Unknown June17-21, 2008 (Tuesday - Saturday) Please note: In 2009 Camp will be moved back to the 2nd week in July Northern Michigan

1. Introduce campers to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, inviting them to a personal relationship with Him and providing an opportunity for commitment of their lives to Him 2. Discover the meaning of Christian discipleship by the study and practice of God’s truth. 3. Grow in self-awareness and understanding of others in their social relationships.
The link for the forms is at the bottom of this page. Registration Cost: $65.00 if from supporting congregation. If you are from a non-supporting church the cost is $120.00 (this covers the bare costs) Please register by June 8, after the 8th the cost is $80.00/$130.00 Make checks payable to: Northern Michigan Mennonite Camps Pre-Registration has a purpose: 1. We need to know for adequate staffing, 2. We have run low/out of food because so many have come without notice. If you find out you are coming after June 8th, you still need to call ahead. We need to know for food preparation.
Here is the routine: Jr. and Sr. High camps will run the same days this year, therefore you will notice an increase in the fee for Jr. High Camp. This should make transportation much easier for the families involved. There will be separation of the camps for much of the activities. Ages range from 6th grade up Both forms must be filled and signed by parent/ guardian Registration is Tuesday @ 4:00 pm Saturday AM Service and then dismissal @ 1:00
Camper Expectations (Please read carefully)Ø To participate in all activities. Ø Following all rules set by staff and governing agencies Ø Wear appropriate clothing in keeping with Godly principles. a. Shorts are to be no shorter than mid thigh b. No low cut tops or midriff exposed Ø No coarse or obscene language Ø No use of illegal substances Ø No violent behavior Ø No fireworks or controlled explosives and firearms Ø No radios or TVs with or without headphones Ø Once on the campground, all campers are expected to stay and may not leave for any purpose without permission Ø Camper may be dismissed from camp for not being willing to follow the above and other guidelines as set by the director and his staff. This will be at the campers, or family’s expense Ø No inappropriate physical contact.
